About Fifty Shades of Tinsel – Vol. #1 – Heartthrob:
**PORTRAIT OF A HOLLYWOOD HUSTLER**
Jimmy Riff, a well-endowed preacher’s son whose life is adrift, stopped off in Hollywood on his way to Oregon in search of a lost love and instead found himself trapped by LA’s sleazy underbelly.
Now he’s a gigolo, dubbed James Kidd by his tough-guy manager Benjamin T. Styles and forced to do the pimp’s bidding by sleeping with Hollywood honchos, both male and female, to further Styles’ agenda of scoring a serious movie role. Jimmy is his meal ticket to stardom, and he intends to exploit him.
A life of debauchery, encountering an endless parade of kinky users and sadistic abusers, leaves Jimmy unfulfilled. He desperately seeks a way out. A beautiful young woman at a sleazy Valley party just might be the answer to his dreams…if only he can get the relentless Styles off his back.
Intended for mature audiences.

Author Bio:
A life-long jogger, Kirk Alex loves jazz, books, cycling, Boston terriers & pit bulls. He has spent time in Los Angeles, Chicago, Kentucky, Louisiana, Kansas, Southeast Asia, Germany, Arizona & Indiana––not necessarily in that order.
His novel Lustmord: Anatomy of a Serial Butcher was a finalist in the Kindle Book Review’s Best Kindle Book Awards of 2014. He is also the writer/director of Lunch Meat, an acclaimed micro-budget horror film shot on Kodachrome 40 in 14 days, as well as the author of Ziggy Popper at Large & other stories.
His favorite crime novel is Derek Raymond’s I Was Dora Suarez; his favorite horror writers are Edgar Allan Poe & Jack Ketchum. Kirk is partial to the short stories of Charles Bukowski & Plez Gehman for their outrageous humor. In addition to the above, he digs the hell out of Sean Chercover’s private eye novels for their Chicago backdrop and authentic tone. Favorite playwrights (to read) are Eugene O’Neil & August Strindberg.
