What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I wanted to write a different type of book about over-the-knee spanking. When reading about spanking in books or short stories it's almost always a brutal punishment but I believe most women fantasize about the act as pleasurable foreplay. The idea of being dominated into submission during sexual playtime, giving up control safely to one's loving partner, is the turn-on.

How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I really just have two characters in the book: the married couple Polly in her early twenties and Derek who is about 12-14 years older. I see them perfectly in my minds' eye but they developed along with the idea for the story, they aren't modelled on anyone.

In the course of the book they script playtime scenarios with a dozen more characters but those are basically one-dimensional people filling specific roles (policeman, sorority co-ed).
